The 14th edition of the Bangalore India Nano Summit, with a focus on 'Nano Contribution to Sustainable Food and Water Security,' was announced by Karnataka Minor Irrigation, Science, and Technology Minister NS Boseraju on Saturday.

During the valedictory ceremony of the previous summit, Boseraju revealed plans to annually organize the Bengaluru India Quantum Summit to make Karnataka a global hub for quantum technology, under the aegis of the Department of Science and Technology.

The Nano Summit has received international acclaim since its inception, highlighting innovations in nanotechnology and fostering business opportunities. Over 700 global experts participated this year, impacting thousands of students.

Scheduled for 2026, the next Nano Conference will prioritize sustainability in food and water security amidst global challenges like climate change and energy demands. The minister also announced the Bangalore India Quantum Summit in 2025, focusing on the transformative potential of quantum tech, supported by initiatives like the Quantum Research Park at IISC Bangalore.
