Actor Anushka Sharma has spoken out against the societal pressure to be 'perfect parents,' stating that she and her cricketer-husband, Virat Kohli, embrace their imperfections. Speaking at a brand promotion event, Sharma, mother to three-year-old Vamika and six-month-old Akaay, underscored the importance of being honest with their children about their flaws.
Sharma revealed that maintaining a consistent routine despite their frequent travels helps provide a sense of stability for their children. 'No matter where we are, maintaining eating times helps regulate them better,' she noted.
Additionally, Sharma emphasized the value of introducing family recipes to their children, stressing that these traditions hold as much significance as passing down heirlooms. She also believes that leading by example is key to teaching gratitude to their children.
