India launched 'Operation Sadbhav' on Sunday, dispatching urgent supplies to Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar after the devastating impact of Typhoon Yagi. The operation is part of India's broader humanitarian efforts in the ASEAN region.

Various parts of Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar have been severely affected by massive floods caused by Typhoon Yagi. The typhoon, originating from the South China Sea, has resulted in the loss of over 200 lives in the region.

India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced relief measures, including a shipment worth USD 1,00,000 to Laos and USD 10,00,000 to Vietnam. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar confirmed dispatching 10 tonnes of aid to Myanmar onboard INS Satpura and 35 tonnes to Vietnam. The rapid response highlights India's commitment to extending emergency humanitarian assistance.
