Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha highlighted the importance of unity and diversity as foundational elements for India's development during a seminar on language integration in Srinagar. Organized by the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar and Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti, the event focused on fostering a strong collective identity.
Sinha emphasized the role of India's rich linguistic landscape, seen as a source of strength, in building a cohesive society. He urged the nation to harness diversity for nation-building, while preventing the colonial mindset from hindering progress.
The governor also called on the youth to transcend linguistic barriers, view language as a bridge, and innovate. With global eyes on India, he asserted that consistent growth would solidify the nation as a global power. The seminar included initiatives by NIT Srinagar to promote the Hindi language.
