Tragedy on the Road: Indian Pilgrims' Fatal Bus Crash in Saudi Arabia

The Consulate General of India in Jeddah has moved swiftly to set up a camp office in Madina following a tragic bus accident that claimed the lives of 44 Indians, including 42 from Telangana. The collision, involving the bus and a fuel tanker, occurred in the early hours near Madina.
According to local authorities, one Indian survived the crash and is currently being treated at a hospital in Madina. The Consulate has confirmed that the best possible medical care is being administered, wishing the survivor a speedy recovery.
Iran's Foreign Affairs Ministry has reached out with condolences, expressing solidarity with the families and the Government of India. Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei offered prayers for the deceased and the swift recovery of the injured.
