Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu applauded the international conference celebrating the Sixth Dalai Lama's legacy, emphasizing its cross-cultural impact. Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu praised the successful conclusion of a four-day international conference held to celebrate the cultural and historical importance of Tibetan spiritual leader, the Sixth Dalai Lama, Gyalwa Tsangyang Gyatso. The event saw scholars from around the globe gather in Tawang, fostering discussions on a spiritual legacy that extends beyond borders and faiths.

Emphasizing that the institution of the Dalai Lama is not confined to Buddhism, the Chief Minister described it as a universal gift to humanity. The event also featured a moving performance by Swiss-based Tibetan singer Loten Namling, who sang the iconic song 'Aku Pema'.
