According to a joint statement released in London, the conclusion stems from the thorough analysis of samples obtained from Navalny, which definitively confirmed epibatidine—a lethal toxin characteristic of poison dart frogs from South America and absent in Russia—had been involved.

The Russian government, however, has continued to deny any involvement in Navalny's death, heightening international tensions and spotlighting geopolitical accountability.
