Protest Against 'Love Jihad': A Call for Cultural Preservation

On Saturday, activists from Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal gathered at BK Chowk to protest against 'Love Jihad' and forced religious conversions. The demonstrators called for government intervention, citing a nationwide increase in such incidents.

Puneet, a Bajrang Dal member, alleged that community girls are targeted, initially enticed into relationships and later coerced into converting religions. According to protesters, the rise in these cases reflects an organized attack on faith, culture, and social fabric.

They emphasized that if these issues persist without strict legal action, society and the country could face severe consequences. Concerns about women's safety and social imbalance were also highlighted during the rally, as protesters asserted that the matter extends beyond a law-and-order issue, affecting societal dignity and existence.
