The Nilgiris district administration is under fire after BJP MLA C Bhojarajan condemned its alleged failure to invite local elected representatives to the prestigious 128th Flower Show.
Bhojarajan, representing the Udhagamandalam Assembly constituency, expressed dissatisfaction after discovering that key public figures, including Nilgiris MP A Raja, did not receive formal invitations.
The MLA criticized the absence of the Nilgiris District Collector at the event's inauguration, questioning officials' handling of the cherished annual festival known for drawing tourists to the region.
