Union Minister Piyush Goyal said on Thursday that in the ongoing Lok Sabha election, the National Democratic Alliance has no competition from the opposition INDIA bloc, which, he said, has neither a leader nor an ideology. "There is no competition as INDI alliance has no ideology and no agenda to work on. The alliance has completely failed; they have neither a leader nor are they on the same page about who will be their leader. They did not have any coherent policy to offer to the people," Goyal told ANI on the sidelines of a roadshow he held here in support of BJP candidate from West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, Kamaljeet Sehrawat.

He exuded confidence in the NDA getting more than 400 seats in the general election. "The trends that we are seeing and the blessing that people have over PM Modi, NDA will get 400 plus for sure," he said.

Goyal said that the people of Delhi will give a befitting reply to the "corrupt" Congress and AAP in this election and that the BJP will win all seven seats in the national capital. He also lashed out at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, saying that he is corrupt and that he will get severe punishment for it.

" The court has given him bail not based on the merit of the case but for campaigning. I believe that he will get severe punishment for the corruption that he has committed. The more he goes on the ground in the election campaign, it will benefit the BJP," he said. The Union Minister claimed that people are satisfied with the work of the BJP government at the centre.

"People have been satisfied with the BJP's work in the last 10 years. We have had a report card for 10 years and a manifesto for 5 years. What PM Narendra Modi has worked for, be it in the economic, social, security or employment sectors, is all before the people," he said. Voting in seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi will be held on May 25. The counting of the votes will be done on June 4. As part of the seat-sharing arrangement, the Congress is contesting three seats while AAP has fielded candidates from four constituencies in Delhi. (ANI)
