A 46-year-old woman tragically lost her life after being struck by a speeding car in Virar, Maharashtra's Palghar district. The victim, Atmja Kasat, was a dedicated teacher at Utkarsh Junior College.
Arnala police have apprehended the driver of the Toyota Fortuner, identified as Shubham Patil. According to reports, Kasat was walking in front of Muljibhai Mehta School in Virar West on Thursday evening when the car hit her from behind.
