PM Modi Pledges Full Support to Landslide Victims in Wayanad

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with those injured during the landslide in Wayanad and interacted with residents in relief camps on Saturday. Extending his prayers to the affected, PM Modi pledged full support from the Central Government to aid in relief efforts.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the Central Government stands alongside the State Government in all assistance and relief activities. After conducting an aerial survey of the affected areas, PM Modi assured victims of the government's comprehensive support during this period of grief. He mentioned that a detailed memorandum would be sent by the Chief Minister.
PM Modi noted that he has been closely monitoring the rescue operations in Wayanad and remains in constant communication with authorities. Disaster management funds have already been disbursed, with more to follow. He commended the swift response of the NDRF, SDRF, Army, State Police, local medical teams, NGOs, and other agencies in the search and rescue efforts.
Highlighting the need for long-term schemes to support affected individuals, especially orphans, Modi expressed confidence in the state government's pivotal role with full support from the Center. He assured the people of Wayanad that the Central Government will spare no effort in restoring livelihoods, homes, schools, roads, and the future of children in the region.
