Global Muthamizh Murugan Conference Unites Devotees Worldwide in Palani
Thousands of devotees from around the globe gathered in Palani, Tamil Nadu, for the Global Muthamizh Murugan Conference. The event featured seminars, exhibitions, and discussions to showcase Lord Murugan's greatness and philosophies. Attendees received prasad bags, and extensive security measures were in place.

The second day of the Global Muthamizh Murugan Conference drew thousands of devotees to Palani, Tamil Nadu, on Sunday. Participants from countries such as England, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia joined the event, which aims to highlight the greatness of Lord Murugan. Various papers on Lord Murugan's worship and literary importance were presented at the conference.
The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department distributed prasad bags to all attendees, each containing 200 grams of panchamirtham, kumkum, vibhuti, and a laminated picture of Lord Murugan. To ensure security, over 2,000 police personnel were deployed in and around Palani.
On Saturday, the conference saw an attendance of over one lakh people, including more than 50 devotees from Japan. The Global Muthamizh Murugan Conference aims to unite devotees and promote Lord Murugan's philosophy. The Shri Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple in Palani was beautifully illuminated for the occasion. The conference was inaugurated by Sekar Babu and Minister R Sakkarapani.
Entry to the conference is free, with events featuring seminars, photo exhibitions, and 3D displays. The conference's objectives include spreading Murugan's core principles globally, simplifying the understanding of his philosophical doctrines, uniting devotees worldwide, and propagating valuable insights from Puranas, literature, Thirumurais, and Shaiva Siddhanta scriptures. The conference also aims to instill Murugan's doctrines in the youth, fostering a prosperous and harmonious divine world.
