Nationwide 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' Campaign Gains Momentum
The 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, initiated by PM Narendra Modi, is progressing nationwide with significant efforts in Uttarakhand. The Society for Environment and Rural Development, under CM Pushkar Singh Dhami's guidance, has been active in plantation. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also participated, urging to protect the environment.

The 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is gaining traction across the country. The Society for Environment and Rural Development is spearheading efforts in Uttarakhand under Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's guidance.
President Indrajit Singh Kadakoti and other office bearers of the Society have undertaken extensive plantation drives in areas like 11 Battalion SSB DDhat and in collaboration with 7 Battalion ITBP Mirthi and Centralized Training Center, Srinagar (Garhwal). CM Dhami also contributed by planting saplings at the 'Haat Kalika' temple complex.
In New Delhi, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan encouraged the campaign by planting a sapling and called on citizens to plant trees to safeguard the environment for future generations. He emphasized the collective responsibility, especially in Kisan Kendras, Agricultural Universities, and offices, to contribute to environmental conservation by planting trees. (ANI)
