BJP Leader Assures Financial Aid to Flood-Hit Telangana

BJP leader Prakash Reddy has assured Telangana of financial assistance from the Union Government amid ongoing floods. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and MoS Home Bandi Sanjay inspected the flood-affected areas. Immediate relief measures have been discussed, including Rs 10,000 for affected families.

BJP leader Prakash Reddy has assured the people of Telangana that the Union Government will provide all possible financial assistance amid the ongoing flood crisis. Speaking to ANI, Reddy highlighted the recent visit by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to assess the damage.

'The Agriculture Minister, on the Prime Minister's instructions, along with MoS Home Bandi Sanjay, visited the flood-hit areas in Khammam district and Vijayawada,' Reddy informed. 'The minister assured complete support to both states' he added. Khammam District Collector Muzammil Khan described the floods as the worst in the region in 30 years.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met with the Union Agriculture Minister and the MoS for Home Affairs to discuss the floods and relief measures. CM Reddy announced a Rs 10,000 relief package for affected families. While no specific financial assistance figure was provided, BJP leader Reddy emphasized that losses to railways and highways would be covered by the Union Government.

Reddy emphasized that the Union Government considers Telangana a vital part of the country and assured that all necessary support would be given to help the state recover from the floods.
