State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has teamed up with Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. to explore opportunities in the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) value chain. The partnership aligns with ONGC's plans to scale its renewable energy capacity to 10 gigawatts by 2030.
Expectations from the collaboration include advancements in utility-scale energy storage, grid stabilization, renewable energy integration, and Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. This initiative underscores ONGC's commitment to sustainable energy transitions in India.
