The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is urging the TDP-led government in Andhra Pradesh to outline a clear timeline for fulfilling its welfare scheme promises. The party claims that ongoing schemes are stalled and accuses the government of filing unfounded cases against political rivals indiscriminately.

On Thursday, YSRCP MLC and former Minister Botcha Satyanarayana criticized the state of governance, alleging nine months of inaction from the coalition. He highlighted the pending Centre's component, revealing a disconnect between policy makers and administrative execution. Satyanarayana described significant administrative backlog and accused the government of prioritizing publicity over actual work.

Satyanarayana further pointed out the troubling economic indicators, such as rising essential commodities costs and declining purchasing power, mirrored in low GST collection. He praised YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for implementing election promises, maintaining sound state finances amid Covid-19, and keeping schools operational, unlike current oversights in the education sector.

The lack of effective governance affects various societal groups, including students, women, and youth. The YSRCP vows to address the non-implementation of 'Super Six' policies in the Council. He also criticized the government for its vendetta-driven case filings, referencing the High Court's discontent, and demanded clarity on land scam SIT reports.

Regarding Rushikonda, Satyanarayana asserted the site as government property, suggesting the coalition's failure to utilize it exemplifies inefficiency. (ANI)
