Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi has sharply criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its unclear governance strategy in Delhi. She questioned whether the party is genuinely in charge of the capital's administration, highlighting inconsistency in blame attribution during issues such as power cuts.

Atishi went further, alleging the BJP lacks a cohesive plan for the city's development. She claimed, "BJP cannot manage Delhi's governance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is aware that none of his 48 MLAs are fit to lead, focusing instead on exploiting the capital's resources."

She also criticized the BJP for failing to appoint a Chief Minister despite having 48 legislators, suggesting a lack of trust within the party. The narrative of corruption extended to years of BJP control in the Delhi Municipal Corporation, where Atishi accused councillors of exploiting the public. AAP's Chief National Spokesperson, Priyanka Kakkar, echoed these concerns, highlighting the delays in forming a government as an indicator of internal BJP conflicts.
