In a show of national solidarity, Haryana Minister Anil Vij expressed unwavering support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Army, asserting that the entire nation stands behind the soldiers stationed at the borders. Vij emphasized the country's unified stance during an interview with ANI.
He urged stringent actions against those perpetuating terrorism through training camps. "Supply chains servicing these elements must be completely severed," Vij insisted, advocating for a robust approach to counterterrorism efforts.
Meanwhile, the Haryana Government has instructed government officials to remain at their posts, a move mirrored in Rajasthan where border tensions escalate. Minister Jogaram Patel confirmed the neutralization of Pakistani drones by Indian forces, with heightened vigilance throughout the region.
The Rajasthan government, led by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, has activated a crisis management plan, cancelling leave for government staff in border zones and sending additional officers to the areas in question.
The Indian Army reported successfully repelling multiple drone incursions by the Pakistan Armed Forces, marking a significant defense effort during the night of May 8-9. As the situation develops, India remains resolute in its defensive strategies against cross-border threats.
