Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini hailed the Indian armed forces for their decisive action under 'Operation Sindoor' against Pakistan, lauding it as a strong response to the killing of innocent civilians.
Saini expressed confidence in the military's ability to protect national security, after 'Operation Sindoor' was launched following a terror attack in Pahalgam. He asserted the importance of alertness and readiness among the forces, while the Ministry of Home Affairs urged states and UTs to enhance civil defence in accordance with the Civil Defence Act and Rules of 1968.
The Ministry's directive, prompted by further attacks on Indian soil by Pakistan targeting Jammu and Jaisalmer, emphasizes the utilization of local funds for emergency measures and granting procurement powers to civil defence directors. India intercepted these threats using air defence systems, retaliating against recent aggression with 'Operation Sindoor' targeting terror camps in Pakistan.
