Fertiliser Crisis in Haryana: Farmers Struggle Amid DAP Shortage

Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has accused the BJP government of failing to supply fertilisers on time, particularly DAP, affecting multiple regions and impacting farmers financially and operationally.

Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has sharply criticized the BJP-led state government for its alleged failure to provide essential fertilisers to farmers on time.

Hooda pointed out that a severe scarcity of diammonium phosphate (DAP) has impacted agricultural operations in regions such as Sonipat, Jhajjar, Fatehabad, Hisar, and Rohtak, among others. He claimed that farmers are forced to seek fertilisers in the black market at exorbitant prices, adding to their financial woes.

Highlighting the ongoing shortage, Hooda expressed concern over the economic and production impact on farmers. He emphasized that ever since the BJP assumed power, farmers have continuously been deprived of timely fertiliser supplies, fair crop prices, and adequate compensation.
