Adani Green Energy Ltd announced a significant 31% increase in its consolidated net profit, amounting to Rs 824 crore for the June quarter, fueled by its core business operations. This impressive growth is attributed to the company's strategic expansion and revenue from power supply and equipment sales.
The company's revenue soared to Rs 4,006 crore, a substantial increase from Rs 3,112 crore in the previous year. A majority of this income, Rs 3,312 crore, originated from power supply, while Rs 429 crore was from the sale of goods and equipment. Operating expenditures reached Rs 3,050 crore, a rise from Rs 2,437 crore recorded in the same quarter last year.
Adani Green CEO Ashish Khanna emphasized the impact of greenfield capacity additions totaling 4.9 GW, advanced renewable energy technologies, and optimal plant performance. The company has significantly bolstered its operations with 1.6 GW of new capacity this quarter. These achievements align with Adani Green's target of a 50 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030, positioning it as a leader in sustainable power solutions.
