Trump declared on Tuesday the U.S. intention to impose tariffs on Russia within ten days unless Moscow makes progress in resolving its conflict in Ukraine.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov expressed confidence in Russia's resilience, citing the country's ability to withstand numerous restrictions and sanctions over the years, while maintaining that all international comments are being considered.
