Empowering Steps: Army's Heartening Support at LoC

The Army organized a camp in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, providing artificial limbs to disabled individuals near the LoC. In a remarkable show of support, the Army on Monday provided artificial limbs to 24 persons with disabilities along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, according to a defence spokesperson.

For many recipients, it marked the first time they could walk and stand in years. Alongside, a medical camp was organized at the Army's Balnoi base, attended by 179 villagers, including women and children, focusing on uplifting border populations such as Balnoi, Sagra, Dabraj, and Mankote.

The spokesperson highlighted the Army's unwavering commitment to the community, offering health check-ups, medicines, and long-term welfare support. This initiative between the Army and civil administration exemplifies inclusive development efforts around the LoC.
