Russia has the option to import gasoline, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on Wednesday. "This possibility exists. Our legislation allows for imports, and the Russian government has reduced the previously imposed 5% import duty, which was, in principle, prohibitive," Novak said.

"Now, the government has reduced this duty to zero, so economic operators can supply gasoline and fuel products." Some Russian regions have been suffering gasoline shortages after a series of Ukrainian drone strikes on oil refineries.
