In a sharp rebuke, BJP's Prakash Reddy on Monday condemned Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's response to the media uproar over alleged irregularities at Singareni Collieries. Responding to the Telangana CM's remarks, Reddy specifically criticized the involvement of a woman IAS officer in the controversy, attributing the media reports to Congress's internal discord.

The controversy follows media allegations of financial misconduct in the Singareni tender process. Chief Minister Reddy vehemently denied the claims, stating in a press release that social media and certain media outlets have been propagating baseless accusations, undermining the state's anti-corruption stance.

Emphasizing transparency, CM Revanth Reddy reiterated that his government has no tolerance for corruption, urging media to seek clarifications before publishing allegations against state ministers. The issue escalated after a TV report linked a woman IAS officer and a minister to misconduct, drawing widespread attention.
