Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took a significant step towards energy conservation by inaugurating the BJP district training camp in Lansdowne, Pauri Garhwal. The event highlighted his appeal to party workers to embrace energy-saving practices, reflecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's nationwide call for responsible energy usage amid ongoing global tensions in West Asia.
Dhami emphasized implementing digital measures, stating, "I urge you all to turn the Prime Minister's energy conservation appeal into actionable practices." His focus remained on modernizing governance through virtual meetings and promoting a 'Work from Home' culture to curb unnecessary physical travel.
Across BJP-ruled states, the Prime Minister's message has resonated firmly. Uttar Pradesh inaugurated a 50% vehicle reduction mandate among official fleets, while Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra announced initiatives aligning with Modi's vision for enhanced public transport utilization and reduced reliance on fuel-guzzling vehicles.
