Pope Francis Shows Improvement Amid Double Pneumonia Battle
Pope Francis, suffering from double pneumonia, is showing progress as treatment stabilizes his condition. Hospitalized since February 14, the 88-year-old has responded well to therapies. While his prognosis is no longer guarded, he continues receiving respiratory support and therapy, with further hospitalization anticipated.

Pope Francis is displaying significant improvement in his health as he battles double pneumonia, according to a recent update from the Vatican. His doctors have lifted the 'guarded' prognosis as the 88-year-old pontiff responds well to ongoing treatment at Rome's Gemelli hospital.
The Vatican reported stable clinical conditions for Francis, confirmed by blood tests and medical assessments. Though still under treatment, the pope is expected to remain hospitalized for a few more days for continued medical support.
With a history of lung issues, including part of a lung removed in early adulthood, Francis has faced several health challenges recently. Now, his stable condition is being supported by oxygen therapy, respiratory physiotherapy, and mobility exercises to aid his recovery.
