In a touching story of generosity, a 19-year-old from Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu, after being deemed brain dead due to a tragic traffic accident, became a beacon of hope for several patients through organ donation.

Jigyanshu, from Rasoolpur Aheeran, was treated at Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital in Jaipur after sustaining severe head injuries. Despite extensive medical efforts, he was pronounced brain dead, leading his family, upon hospital advice, to agree to organ donation.

The organ retrieval was a coordinated effort among medical experts from SDMH, AIIMS Jodhpur, and SMS Medical College Jaipur. Teams from various specialties ensured a successful procedure.

On a notable note, a green corridor facilitated the swift transport of a liver to Jodhpur for transplantation, with a cadaver kidney transplant also performed locally at SDMH.
