Former President Donald Trump is in good health following a shooting at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. His campaign advisors, Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles, confirmed he intends to attend the upcoming Republican convention in Milwaukee, where he is set to accept the party's nomination on Thursday.

LaCivita and Wiles expressed Trump's gratitude to law enforcement for their swift actions. "President Trump is grateful to law enforcement and first responders for their fast action," they said. Trump was on stage when gunshots were fired, and he was quickly escorted off by Secret Service agents, with visible blood on his face. The shooter was neutralized by the Secret Service, resulting in one spectator dead and another critically injured.

Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, also thanked the Secret Service for their quick response. The former president shared his first account of the incident on Truth Social, highlighting the bullet that "pierced" his right ear. He expressed condolences to the victims' families and praised the rapid law enforcement response. CBS News reported that Trump was taken away in a motorcade and later seen leaving Butler Memorial Hospital.

US Secret Service Communications Chief Anthony Guglielmi confirmed the details of the incident, noting that the shooter used an AR-style rifle from a distant elevated position. Law enforcement is investigating the incident, with the FBI involved. Witnesses described the chaotic scene, highlighting the gravity and proximity of the threat.
