The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Cindy Rodriguez Singh, who is wanted for allegedly killing her 6-year-old son. Rodriguez Singh has connections to both India and Mexico.
The case came to light after the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services requested a welfare check on the boy in March 2023. During an interview, Rodriguez Singh falsely claimed her son was living with his biological father in Mexico, according to the FBI's official website.
On March 22, 2023, Rodriguez Singh, her husband, and six other juvenile children took an international flight to India. The missing child was not aboard. Rodriguez Singh was subsequently charged with capital murder and Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution. FBI Special Agent Chad Yarbrough appealed to the public for assistance, expressing confidence in the swift arrest due to the collaborative efforts of multiple agencies.
