Strengthening Ties: Fiji PM Rabuka to Visit India

The visit aims to deepen diplomatic relations and cooperation across various sectors.

Prime Minister Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka of Fiji, accompanied by his wife Suluweti Rabuka, is set for an official visit to India from August 24 to 27, as announced by India's Ministry of External Affairs.
The visit, commencing in New Delhi, includes a meeting with a Cabinet Minister and discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during which several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be exchanged. Rabuka's engagements also involve a wreath-laying ceremony at Rajghat and an official meeting with President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Continuing his schedule, Rabuka will deliver a lecture at Sapru House, organized by the Indian Council of World Affairs, and will depart on August 27. This visit follows recent high-level interactions, underscoring the robust relationship between Fiji and India, characterized by historical ties and mutual cooperation.
