US President Donald J. Trump sparked widespread debate with a cryptic social media post on Truth Social that left both supporters and critics attempting to decipher its meaning. The post featured an image with the caption 'acting president of Venezuela' under a grim-faced Trump, providing no additional context.

Earlier, aboard Air Force One, Trump stated, 'Venezuela is really working out well. We're working closely with their leadership.' He also discussed a significant oil agreement with Venezuela's interim President Delcy Rodriguez, agreeing to purchase 50 million barrels of oil worth $4.2 billion.

The White House issued an Executive Order to protect Venezuelan oil revenues from legal claims in the US, declaring them sovereign property held for governmental purposes. This follows Trump's meeting with energy executives to bolster investment in Venezuela amidst political tensions between Washington and Caracas.
