This marks his inaugural bilateral visit to the island nation as Vice President. The Ministry of External Affairs announced the visit on Friday, emphasizing its significance in strengthening India-Sri Lanka relations.
During his visit, Radhakrishnan will meet with key Sri Lankan leaders, including President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya. Discussions will also involve other senior officials and key figures from the Indian diaspora. The visit is set to reinforce India's Vision MAHASAGAR and the Neighbourhood First policy.
