Hamas says attackers in Jerusalem shooting were its members

Islamist group Hamas claimed as its members two gunmen who carried out a deadly attack on Thursday at a bus stop at the entrance to Jerusalem.

Hamas said in a statement that "the operation came as a natural response to unprecedented crimes conducted by the occupation," citing Israel's military campaign in Gaza and the treatment of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
