Tragic Killing in Madhya Pradesh: Teen Stabbed in Public

In a horrifying incident, a 17-year-old girl named Tamanna was brutally stabbed to death by a man in public in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur city after she allegedly refused to talk to him, police reported on Tuesday.

The suspect, identified as Gufran, is currently on the run following the Monday evening attack in the Omti locality, which was captured on video and has surfaced on social media. City Superintendent of Police (Omti) Rajesh Kumar Rathore confirmed the details to PTI.

Efforts to apprehend the accused are underway, with police examining CCTV footage from the area that verifies his identity. Preliminary investigations indicate that the victim was previously acquainted with her attacker but had recently severed communication.

Eyewitnesses attempted to intercept the suspect as he fled the scene, but their efforts were in vain. The victim succumbed to her injuries at a government hospital.
