Dras (Ladakh), Jul 26 PTI - Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a stern warning to Pakistan as India marked the 25th anniversary of its victory in the Kargil conflict. He condemned Pakistan's continued use of terrorism and proxy wars to remain relevant, assuring that Indian soldiers would crush all terror attempts with full force.

Delivering his speech at the Kargil memorial in Dras, Modi emphasized that falsehood and terror were defeated by truth during the 1999 war, and asserted that Pakistan has not learned from its past. 'Our bravehearts will trample all the terror attempts,' he declared, paying tribute to the soldiers who made supreme sacrifices in the Kargil war.

Modi highlighted the progress in Jammu and Kashmir, citing the abrogation of Article 370 and developmental projects like the Shinkun La Tunnel. He stated that Ladakh is transforming with increased budgets and infrastructure projects, including over 330 completed by the Border Road Organisation, showcasing 'New India's' capabilities.
