Tamil Nadu Extends Support to Kerala After Deadly Landslides
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin extended full support to Kerala following deadly landslides caused by heavy rainfall. He announced the dispatch of a rescue team and funds for relief efforts. Expressing sorrow over the death of a Tamil Nadu worker, he offered condolences and financial aid to the victim’s family.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Tuesday assured his Kerala counterpart Pinarayi Vijayan of full support in rescue and relief operations following landslides triggered by heavy rainfall.
He announced the dispatch of a specialist team and immediate release of Rs 5 crore to aid Kerala's relief activities. The team will include personnel from fire and disaster response forces, as well as medical staff.
Stalin expressed anguish over the death of K Kalidas, a construction worker from Tamil Nadu. He announced a solatium of Rs 3 lakh for the kin of the deceased while assuring Kerala of continued support.
The Tamil Nadu rescue team comprising 50 members will collaborate with Kerala's efforts, led by senior IAS officials G S Sameeran and Johny Tom Varghese.
AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami and BJP Tamil Nadu President K Annamalai also expressed their grief and offered support.
