Russia has lodged formal claims with Germany concerning the investigation into the 2022 Nord Stream pipeline explosions, RIA news agency reported on Monday, citing a Russian foreign ministry official. Oleg Tyapkin, the head of a European department at the Russian foreign ministry, emphasized that the issue was raised to ensure Germany and other impacted nations adhere to their commitments under the UN anti-terrorist conventions.
The official stated that Russia has formally submitted corresponding claims to Berlin, highlighting their bilateral nature. This action underscores Russia's push for transparency and accountability in the ongoing investigation.
