BJP Blames Kejriwal Government for Boy's Drowning Incident

The BJP has accused the Kejriwal government of negligence following the death of a seven-year-old boy who drowned in a drain in Wazirpur. The party claims that the AAP's failure to address waterlogging and public safety has led to multiple accidents during the monsoon season.

The BJP on Monday blamed the Kejriwal government for the death of a seven-year-old boy who drowned in a drain in Delhi's Wazirpur area, attributing the incident to 'negligence' related to waterlogging.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) did not immediately respond to the BJP's allegations. 'It is regrettable that ministers and MLAs of the Kejriwal government always shift the blame on officials for deaths by drowning or electric shocks,' said Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva.

Sachdeva criticized AAP leaders, including Public Works and Water Board Minister Atishi, Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi, and recently bailed Manish Sisodia, for commenting on unrelated issues while failing to address the increasing accidents due to administrative negligence. He further accused the officials of the Delhi Municipal Corporation and Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) of negligence, implicating systemic failure in ensuring public safety.
