Security Forces Nab Naxal Collaborator in Chhattisgarh

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police, in collaboration with state police, apprehended Mohan Gawde, a suspected Naxal supporter, in Chhattisgarh's Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district.
Gawde, aged 34 and a resident of Kanker district, was arrested by the joint forces of the ITBP 27th Battalion and district police for allegedly aiding Maoists by providing logistics support and collecting illegal levies, according to officials.
ITBP Commandant Vivek Kumar Pandey and Superintendent of Police Y P Singh highlighted the ongoing efforts by security forces to maintain Maharashtra's border areas free from Left Wing Extremism activities.
