Assam's Vigilance: Infiltrators Promptly Deported to Bangladesh

An operation to curb illegal immigration saw three Bangladeshi nationals apprehended in Assam's Sribhumi district, Tuesday. They were swiftly deported, according to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Through a statement on social media platform X, CM Sarma commended the Sribhumi Police's diligence in cracking down on infiltration. He highlighted that this action aligns with a broader effort, already seeing 320 infiltrators deported in the past seven months, underscoring the state's unwavering dedication to an infiltration-free Assam.
Border patrol has escalated, as the Border Security Force (BSF) intensifies surveillance across the extensive 1,885-km stretch of the India-Bangladesh border. Concurrently, the Assam Police remains vigilant, maintaining stringent checks to thwart illegal entry into the state.
