Panun Kashmir, an organization representing displaced Kashmiri Pandits, has charged the central government with neglecting to identify the genocidal aims of terrorism. The group criticizes the government's reluctance to designate Pakistan as a terrorist state, a move they believe is crucial for future security operations in Jammu and Kashmir.
The organization's chairman, Dr. Ajay Chrungoo, expressed appreciation for recent military operations but urged the government to acknowledge the persistent threat of genocide. He argues that the violence in Jammu and Kashmir constitutes an unrelenting genocidal campaign against Hindus.
Dr. Chrungoo criticized the government for using rhetoric that undermines the true motivations behind terrorist activities in the region. He believes the government's policy of 'genocide denial' maintains an erroneous perspective on terrorism and separatism, viewing Pakistan inconsistently as both a rogue and a normal state.
