Drones and Pistols: Thwarted Arms Smuggling at Border

BSF troops in Amritsar recovered two pistols suspected to be airdropped by a drone from Pakistan. The weapons, wrapped in yellow adhesive tape with metal rings, were found near the India-Pakistan border. This indicates a thwarted attempt by a Pakistani terror syndicate to smuggle arms into India.

In a significant interception, two pistols suspected to have been airdropped by a drone from Pakistan were recovered by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab's Amritsar.

The BSF, responding swiftly to drone activity, discovered the firearms along with four magazines in the vicinity of village Nesta. The pistols were wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and featured metal rings, confirming the theory of a drone-assisted delivery.

According to a BSF official, this interception highlights the quick and efficient response by the troops, successfully disrupting the plans of Pakistan-based terror groups attempting to smuggle weapon consignments into Indian territory.
