He recalled Nehru's tributes to Patel, including a notable statue unveiling in New Delhi and previous commemorations led by Indira Gandhi. Ramesh criticized current political tactics as tarnishing the legacy of selfless icons like Patel, whose role in India's independence and unity remains a foundational chapter in the nation's history.
