A delegation comprising around 50 family members of victims involved in a tragic bus accident in Saudi Arabia is preparing to journey for the venerable funeral proceedings, a Telangana state official confirmed on Tuesday.

The anticipated funeral is slated for Thursday, with the Telangana government deploying a team led by Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammad Azharuddin to streamline relief operations including funeral logistics.

As the victims' remains are severely charred, DNA testing will play a pivotal role in confirming identities to issue death certificates. The deceased's families may receive compensation from Saudi authorities and the Telangana government, with additional support for travel expenses.
