Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has called for severe punishments for those involved in the 'white-collar' terror module linked to the Delhi blast. However, he urged authorities not to malign every Kashmiri as a suspect, emphasizing the innocence of the general populace.
At a recent North Zone Chief Ministers' conference, Abdullah stressed that while those behind the Delhi blast deserve harsh punishment, the entire Kashmiri community should not be viewed with distrust. He extended his condolences to the victims of the Nowgam police station blast, underscoring the need for answers and proper compensation for affected families.
The Chief Minister praised local hospitals for their swift response to the emergency, promised compensation from the relief fund, and called for the best possible treatment for the injured. Abdullah reassured the public of government support and focused on healing and reconciliation amid the tragedy.
