Haryana Promotes Top IPS Officers to DGP Rank

In an important development, the Haryana government has announced the promotion of two distinguished IPS officers, Alok Mittal and Arshinder Singh Chawla, to the prestigious rank of Director General of Police. Both officers have served since the 1993 batch.
Alok Mittal, who is presently leading the Anti-Corruption Bureau as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), and Arshinder Singh Chawla, the current head of the Haryana Police Academy, will now take on their new roles as DGPs.
The official order confirming their promotions was issued on Tuesday, marking a significant step in their careers while highlighting the state's commitment to its law enforcement leadership.
