Bus Abduction Drama Unfolds in Sindh: 18 Hostages Taken by Armed Gunmen

Eighteen passengers en route to Quetta were abducted by armed gunmen in Pakistan's Sindh province, causing a dramatic escalation in regional security concerns. The incident took place near the Ghotki area on a bus traveling the Highway Link Road.
The attackers fired upon the vehicle, resulting in injuries to the driver and several passengers, before taking 18 male passengers hostage. Reports indicate that 18 to 20 masked assailants carried out the attack, sparing female passengers unharmed.
A swift response by security forces led to the rescue of 10 hostages in an overnight operation commanded by the DIG. However, the pursuit of the armed assailants continues as tensions heighten over the recovery of the remaining captives.
