In a bid to resolve ongoing land allotment disputes, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has appealed to Army officials to designate special officers. The aim is to address issues surrounding land allotment and the approval of Sainik Schools.
The discussions took place during the 'Civil Military Liaison Conference,' where both parties explored defence land allotment for development projects and administrative issues between the Telangana government and the Indian Army. Several senior officials, including Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao and Major General Ajay Mishra, were present at the conference.
Chief Minister Reddy highlighted that while other states have benefited from Sainik School sanctions, Telangana has faced neglect over the past decade. The state has already allocated 3,000 acres for a Navy radar station in Vikarabad, reflecting its commitment to national security. He emphasized the need for ongoing dialogue to address these concerns effectively.
